Tots Dance
Our Tots Dance class is the perfect introduction to the world of dance for children aged 2 to 4 years. Specially designed to spark imagination and build confidence, this playful and energetic class helps develop coordination, rhythm, and self-expression through movement and music. With fun routines set to popular, age-appropriate songs, your child will enjoy getting active while improving balance, strength, and focus all in a safe and nurturing environment. Street Dance / Hip-Hop / Fusion / Commercial
Our Street Dance classes are open to children aged 5 and above, offering an exciting and dynamic introduction to the world of dance. Street Dance is a vibrant fusion of commercial jazz, hip-hop, and street dance styles, designed to engage young dancers with its high energy routines and contemporary flair. These fun filled classes are set to the latest chart-topping music, creating an upbeat and motivating environment for children to express themselves through movement. Street Dance is not only a fantastic form of exercise, but it also plays a key role in developing physical fitness, coordination, rhythm, and musicality. Through structured choreography and freestyle elements, dancers are encouraged to bring their own individuality and personality into their performances. The style emphasises freedom of movement, creativity, and performance confidence, helping each student grow both technically and artistically. Lyrical Dance
Lyrical dance is a captivating fusion of ballet, jazz, modern, acrobatics, and even elements of hip hop. This expressive dance style challenges both dancers and choreographers to bring music to life through movement, using emotion and storytelling as their guide. Each piece of choreography is crafted to be heartfelt and powerful, often delicate and graceful, yet deeply moving. Musical Theatre / Singing
Step into the spotlight and let your imagination shine! Musical theatre is a super fun way to explore the world of performing arts. Kids will sing, dance, act, and even make up their own scenes through improvisation, movement, drama, vocal work, and stage performance. Not only is it a blast, but it also helps kids build confidence, improve communication skills, and boost coordination all while making new friends and having tons of fun! Come join the magic of the stage—where every child is a star! 🌟
Dance Parties / Camps
Looking for the coolest birthday party ever? Join us at VCSOD for a fantastic celebration full of dance, fun hair styling, and sparkly glitter tattoos! We can even customize the party to match exactly what you want—so it’s your perfect special day! During school holidays, come join our awesome Dance Camps held in different locations from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, kids have a blast singing, dancing, acting, and creative arts & crafts. At the end of the week, parents get to watch a fantastic showcase performance where all the kids shine on stage!
OUR HISTORY
Vanessa Class began dancing at age three and was performing at The Royal Festival Hall by ten. Alongside her dance pursuits, she worked as a teen model, appearing in hair shows at the Barbican and on TV commercials.
She trained at the prestigious Arts Educational School, London, earning ISTD and RAD teaching qualifications. After touring internationally with the Vienna Festival Ballet Company, she returned to teach at Arts Ed and Sylvia Young Theatre School.
Over 40 years ago, Vanessa founded her first dance schools in Harrow and Elstree, later expanding into Bushey, Radlett, and surrounding areas. Today, she leads an outstanding dance school known for excellence and experience, with over 500 students, offering professional-level training in a warm, inclusive environment for children aged 2–18. The school has a history of 100% pass rates in ballet and tap exams.
It’s a family-run school, with Vanessa’s daughter now teaching alongside her, fostering a nurturing and community-focused atmosphere. Each year, the school produces a full-stage production at The Radlett Centre, where every student, from age two, performs. These shows also raise funds for children’s charities, instilling compassion and a spirit of giving back.
The school regularly supports charities like Rays of Sunshine, GOSH, and Children in Need, giving students valuable lessons in empathy and gratitude.

With over 40 years of experience in both performance and dance education, Vanessa is the founder and director of a premier dance school known for its vibrant, inclusive, and high-quality training environment.
Her school offers dynamic and engaging classes that cater to children of all ages and skill levels, combining professional instruction with a fun, supportive atmosphere. Each class is thoughtfully designed to inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster a love for dance.
At the heart of the school is a strong sense of community, where students become part of a close-knit dance family and are regularly given opportunities to perform and shine on stage. Vanessa’s commitment to excellence and joy in teaching ensures that every dancer feels encouraged, empowered, and excited to grow.

Creative Director
Sasha is a specialist in commercial and hip-hop dance, known for delivering high-energy, engaging classes that captivate and inspire.
With a natural flair for choreography and a deep passion for teaching, Sasha is dedicated to nurturing children’s confidence and creativity through dance. Her innovative approach and dynamic teaching style allow students to explore movement in a fun and supportive environment, while developing strong technique and performance skills.
In addition to her studio work, Sasha leads several successful lunchtime and after-school dance clubs across Northwest London, bringing the joy of dance to a wide range of schools and communities.
